The Sustainability Programme Committee will organise this year’s EFR Sustainability Programme: a completely new series of four sustainability and impact days spread throughout the academic year, instead of one single week.

The programme will consist of four themed days:

    • Block 1: Introduction & Public Policy Day – how EU/NL climate and sustainability policy shapes what firms can (and must) do.
    • Block 2: Social Impact Day  working on climate and social issues in NGOs and social enterprises.
    • Block 4: Heavy Industry Day – panels and cases with companies such as Shell or Tata Steel, focusing on the transition of heavy emitters.
    • Block 5: Consumer Goods & Behaviour Day – how companies like Unilever or Coca-Cola deal with greenwashing, branding and real impact in their products and campaigns.

Across these days, you connect ESE students with impact-driven career opportunities in corporates, NGOs, public institutions and start-ups. You will also help position EFR as a CO₂-neutral and GHG-compliant association and a leading player both off and on campus when it comes to sustainability and impact.

You will work closely with the EFR Board and Commercial to make the EFR Sustainability Programme both content-strong and commercially attractive.
