Welcome to MUNROT 2025!
We are excited to announce the sixth edition of the Model United Nations Conference (MUNROT), organized by EFR, the prestigious study association of the Erasmus School of Economics (ESE) at Erasmus University Rotterdam.
Taking place from May 22nd to 24th, 2025, MUNROT will bring together around 200 delegates from various cultural and academic backgrounds. This year’s theme, “Beyond Borders – Transforming Challenges into Opportunities”, aims to foster intellectual exchange, diplomatic dialogue, and collaboration to tackle some of the most pressing global issues of today.
With years of experience in MUN, EFR has trained countless delegates who have gone on to participate in conferences worldwide. MUNROT 2025 continues this tradition with an exciting mix of insightful debates, dynamic committee sessions, and memorable social events.
The conference will feature committees such as the Security Council, Human Rights Council, and the Arab League, each addressing globally relevant issues. Experienced chairs will guide delegates, providing research reports to ensure productive and impactful debates. Participants will represent the policies and cultures of assigned nations, working together to create innovative resolutions.
Whether you are a seasoned MUN participant or a first-time delegate, MUNROT 2025 welcomes all experience levels. With diverse committees catering to different interests, delegates will have a rewarding experience.
For students of the Erasmus School of Economics (ESE), MUNROT 2025 offers not just an engaging opportunity for global dialogue, but also an academically recognized achievement. As part of the Career Skills Programme, ESE students can earn 1 ECTS by attending this prestigious event.
