Tijmen van Oostenbruggen

Hi everyone!

My name is Tijmen, and I am the Treasurer of the 61st EFR board. With a background in Tax Economics (Fiscale Economie), this role is a great fit for me. My primary responsibility is to manage and maintain EFR’s budget, ensuring the organization’s financial stability both now and in the future. This involves closely monitoring the budget and adapting it to align with changing expectations.

As Treasurer, I have the privilege of working across all EFR events and committees, helping them make the most of their activities. I oversee the finances for EFR’s largest projects, including Master Career Week and Erasmus Recruitment Days. Additionally, I collaborate with my fellow board members, offering financial guidance and support. Being involved with so many committees keeps me deeply connected to what’s happening in the organization, which makes my work especially rewarding.

My journey with EFR began last year when I organized the Inspiration Days, an experience that taught me a great deal about managing impactful events. Looking ahead, I’m eager to continue contributing to EFR’s success and to bring fresh ideas to life.

Outside of the office, you’ll often find me on the hockey field or the padel court. And if you’d like to chat, feel free to reach out—I’m always up for a coffee or a beer!
