Tim van Mierlo

Hi everyone! My name is Tim van Mierlo, and I am the IT & Strategy Officer of the 62nd EFR Board. I’m 22 years old and currently pursuing a double bachelor in Fiscal Economics and Economics & Business Economics. Originally, I’m from Schipluiden, but Rotterdam has become my home over the past year.

My first EFR experience was the Ski Trip to La Plagne with Nils. It was an amazing introduction to the EFR community, and I made great friendships while having one of the best weeks of my life. Although I haven’t participated in any EFR committees before, this experience inspired me to take a more active role and eventually step into the position of IT & Strategy Officer.

As IT & Strategy Officer, I oversee EFR’s strategy, IT systems, and data structures. This includes maintaining the website, managing passwords and Google Drives for all committees, and contributing to strategic planning for EFR and its flagship events. I also supervise the IT Officers of Master Career Week and Erasmus Recruitment, ensuring smooth IT operations across these initiatives.
