As a committee you will organise Thesis Support, one of EFR’s most valuable initiatives for students navigating the challenges of writing their thesis. Whether it’s finding the right research design, structuring a literature review, or simply staying motivated during the writing process, this committee is there to guide fellow students through every step of their thesis journey.
Throughout the year you will organise a range of activities, including thesis workshops on topics such as research design, literature reviews, and academic writing, a methodology session for students working with quantitative or qualitative methods, and informal, low-pressure support and proofreading sessions where students can exchange experiences and get feedback from their peers. Alongside this, you will build relationships with ESE staff and alumni to bring in relevant speakers and expertise.
We are looking for highly motivated students who are organised, enjoy helping others, and are ready to make thesis writing a little less daunting for their fellow students!
