As a committee you will organise EFR’s newest initiative: the Policy Tour The Hague. This is a brand-new programme aimed at giving students direct exposure to the Dutch policymaking environment. While many EFR activities focus on careers in the private sector, the Policy Tour offers students interested in public policy, economics, regulation, public affairs, and government the chance to explore career paths within the public sector.
During the Policy Tour, participants will visit key institutions involved in Dutch policymaking, think the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Tweede Kamer, the Eerste Kamer, political parties, and independent regulatory authorities. The goal is to give students a practical understanding of how economic and political decisions are made, while connecting them directly with professionals working in government and public policy.
We are looking for highly motivated students who are goal-oriented and eager to build something new from the ground up, who are ready to make the very first edition of the Policy Tour a success!
